Why IM Motors Keys Need Advanced EV Expertise
IM Motors (also known as Zhiji Motors) is a premium EV brand born from a joint venture between SAIC Motor, Alibaba, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech. Because of this tech-heavy DNA, vehicles like the IM LS7 and L7 rely on highly encrypted operating systems (IMOS) and cloud-backed security modules.
Standard aftermarket key programming tools cannot bypass the Alibaba-secured firewalls found in these gateway modules. Locksmith Dubai utilizes specialized, SAIC-compliant diagnostic interfaces to securely authorize and pair new smart keys to your IM Motors vehicle, ensuring seamless integration without voiding your warranty.

What We Fix on IM Motors Keys
Because these vehicles act as "smart devices on wheels," a key or sensor failure can prevent the car from driving entirely. We carry the precise equipment to troubleshoot and resolve these issues on-site.
Lost Smart Keys — we establish a secure connection to the BCM, clear the old lost keys for security, and program a brand-new original style smart fob on-site.
NFC & Bluetooth Entry Issues — if your car is failing to recognize proximity unlocks or NFC cards, we diagnose and re-sync the receiver modules.
System Lockouts & Online Activation — pairing a new key to the IMOS platform often requires secure server authorization, which our tools handle directly from the roadside.
IM Models We Program
Our auto locksmith vans are stocked with the specific smart keys, transponders, and programming software tailored for the complete IM Motors lineup available in Dubai.

Request Service At DoorstepHow We Program Your IM Motors Smart Key
Programming a high-tech EV key is a secure digital process — here's exactly what our technicians do at your location.
Secure Diagnostic Connection
We connect our specialized EV diagnostic unit to the OBD port of your IM L7 or LS7 to communicate directly with the control modules and assess the immobilizer status.
Online Server Authorization
Due to the SAIC/Alibaba tech architecture, pairing a new key requires a secure digital handshake with the manufacturer’s online servers to authorize the procedure.
Smart Key Pairing
We program the new physical smart fob or NFC card, enabling all proximity entry functions and push-to-start capabilities so the car instantly recognizes you.
Emergency Blade Cutting
For smart keys containing an emergency physical blade, we use our on-van precision laser cutter to match your car's manual door lock profile perfectly.
Comprehensive Testing
We thoroughly test keyless entry, tailgate release, and motor start sequence in front of you. The job isn't finished until the vehicle responds flawlessly.

IM Motors Key Programming FAQs
Straight answers to the questions we get most often about programming smart keys for high-tech IM Motors vehicles in Dubai.
Can you program a key for an IM L7 or LS7?
Yes. We have the specific software interfaces required to program smart proximity keys and NFC receivers for the L7, LS7, and LS6.
Do I need to tow my EV to the dealership?
No. Towing a complex EV can be risky. We are a 100% mobile service and will come directly to your location to program the key on the spot.
How much does it cost in Dubai?
Spare smart keys start from AED 650, while an all-keys-lost situation starts from AED 950. We confirm the exact price before starting work.
What if I lost all the keys to my IM Motors car?
We can still help. We securely read the data from the vehicle’s BCM, authorize it online, and issue a brand-new working key without needing a spare.
How long does the programming take?
Due to the secure online activation required for IMOS-equipped EVs, the programming process generally takes 45 to 60 minutes.
Will this affect my vehicle's warranty?
No. We use professional, compliant diagnostic tools that correctly interface with your vehicle's systems without damaging the wiring or voiding the warranty.
